Shu Uemura
Depsea Water Facial Mist

Unique Depsea water contains over 60 minerals to help enhance skin’s moisture balance. Enhances skin clarity and improves quality. Free of artificial color and lightly scented with natural extracts. Available in two different phytotherapy effects: Relaxing and Refreshing.

There will be days wherein you’ll feel the heat and humidity that it’ll make you want to jump into the nearest body of water or take a cupful of water from the nearest fountain just to refresh yourself. The satisfaction of getting what you want will be extremely delightful, however, you’d worry about the lasting effects. Esp when you consider the real needs of your skin and the makeup you may have on. This is one of those times that I think about the benefits of having a facial mist in your bag.

Personally, I’ve always dismissed the need of owning and using one of these things. I saw them trivial even when I do live in a very hot and humid country. I reckon it’s due to my current predisposition as being someone who can easily acclimatise. I worry more on my skin becoming oily during very humid days. But the rest of time, I’m generally cool.

But in the instance that I have makeup on and find myself in a venue and weather that can’t help but cause my makeup to melt, the comfort level is definitely dismal. Had I brought a facial mist with me, things would have been a whole lot more bearable.

Benefits of a Facial Mist

  • Refreshes your skin underneath the makeup.
  • Relaxes you and your skin.
  • Brings instant relief in heat and humidity.
  • Enhances your skin’s moisture balance.

If you really think about your skin’s needs, you will realise that, though it may seem that buying a facial mist is a luxury, it’s more beneficial in the long run.

I’ve noticed that Shu Uemura has established itself in the realm of skincare, providing their loyal customers with products that offers reliable skincare. If you should consider a facial mist, perhaps their Depsea Water Facial Mist can satisfy your needs. It’s available in Bergamot (uplifting and sweet), Chamomile (comforting and serene), Myrtle (energizing and uplifting), Orange Flower (calming and relaxing), Rosemary (energizing and invigorating), Fragrance Free (natural state of water from the depths of the sea), Lavender (tranquil and balancing; in photo), Mint (clean and refreshing), Rose (sweet and gentle), and Sage (fresh and stimulating).

The Depsea Water Facial Mist is currently priced at $24 over at Sephora.

At least, that’s only my suggestion.

I know what you mean. Sometimes, it’s far easier to just dab the skin with tissue and worry about re-touch later on. But you’ve got to admit, nothing beats the feeling of cool moisture on the skin. It’s refreshing, yea? :)
