Retractable Blusher Brush

A portable elegant, high-quality make-up brush, designed with just the right shape and proporations to apply The Body Shop make-up cheek, bronzing and shimmering powder products and sculpt cheekbones out of any face.

Ever since I entered into the world of beauty, when I started modeling and eventually became a freelance makeup artist, I was infatuated with the idea of finding the perfect brush. I’d hear about women using soft-bristled brushes for the very reason that the facial skin is one of the most sensitive areas of the skin and can get easily irritated. Unfortunately, I’m not quite aware of which brand to trust or where to get the brush set that is suitable for me. I’m always overwhelmed by the thought that something so small can be so expensive that’s why I’m quite hesitant to spend too much on buying the “right” brush.

You’d expect it’s happily ever after soon after, huh? Sadly, it took me a while to really understand the importance of using the right sort of brush.

I’ve been pushing myself more and more when it comes to the spending part, reasoning with myself that it is worth every dime. Value versus cost, I reckon I’m getting softer by the minute. Need more shopping time to really get used to the idea.

But, yea, I finally gave in and bought me this Retractable Blusher Brush from The Body Shop. And I’m quite satisfied with it. I would recommend it for you ladies, who are often wanting to re-touch their makeup or who are always on the go, its built is perfect for storing in your vanity kit. The synthetic bristles are soft enough that you’d be sure that it won’t irritate your skin. It’s quite easy to use for contouring, making application smoother and less of a chore.

I still prefer the standard brushes (non-retractable) since the length of the handle makes using it easy. However, when the concept of traveling is entered into the equation, its compact feature is important, not to mention, the cap and the retracting feature that protects the bristles, which just so happens to be the most important part of this beauty tool. I remember one of my old brushes got ruined during transit (traveling from Adelaide, Australia to Manila, Philippines) oily liquid spilled in my vanity kit, damaging my unprotected brush. No matter how many times I washed the brush, twas never the same again.

Anyway, I appreciate its form and function, both are equally notable things about this tool. If you’re looking into getting them portable brushes, I suggest you give this one a go. That’s coming from someone who has actually used it and is satisfied, if you know what I mean.

Owning a retractable brush can ease away your worry on it getting ruined due to travel risks like damaged bristles caused by exposure to rough surfaces, oil or lotion. Or the fact that you might be using a ‘dirty’ brush since standard brushes are often easily exposed to harmful elements due to poor storage capability.
