The Supernatural Airbrushed Canvas by Philosophy

Conceals, camouflages, and provides SPF protection all in one easy step. This amazing powder is a high-pigment, talc-free foundation that provides a silk-to-satin finish. Multi-tasking powder formula provides sheer, natural coverage and leaves the skin with a smooth, airbrushed appearance.

I’ve been searching for the perfect powder to complete my makeup vanity. My makeup application routine doesn’t normally include foundation for base or powder for finish. I simply use a concealer tube, blend then off and do the rest. Mostly going for a more natural finish. Not too matte nor shiny. I’m not keen on using cakes, needing to wet a sponge applicator and all that and I find the cream too fussy and messy. I like the idea of using loose powder and I’ve been on the market for one.

I reckon the search is over.

The talc-free, fragrance-free, paraben-free, water-free and oil-free multi-tasking powder by Philosophy called The Supernatural Airbrushed Canvas has now entered my radar. It’s great to find out that it’s ideal for all skin-types because sometimes I often wonder what’s good for my Asian skin and for this Asian humidity. Gah.

Another positive thing about it is that it has SPF which can double skin protection if I use a separate moisturiser with SPF, too.

Oh, silk-to-satin finish! I reckon that means it’ll make my skin look flawless. Perfect. Er, well — if that’s even possible on anyone, that is. BUT there’s no harm in trying, yeah?

I’m hoping it’s available at Beauty Bar (a fabulous local beauty store) cuz I’ll definitely get one. I’ll let you guys know if or when I do.

I read good things about this product so I was glad to read about it here…. anything good for Asian skin in humid weather is something I’m willing to try… thanks!

This sounds great. I’ll be interested in what you think after you’ve tried it out. It’s hard to find that “just right” product.

I have been debating on whether to give up my Bare Minerals foundation and try another brand, and this is what I am contemplating trying. I love Philosophy so I think that is should be amazing especially after reading your review.

That is awesome that this foundation is fragrance free. I have such a hard time finding things that are fragrance free. Thanks for the review! I may have to try it.

I wouldn’t have considered Philosophy foundations but this one looks like it’s worth looking into!

ack! this reminds me of the blusher I saw on welovebeauty.com - I think it was by Cargo, and it was essentially the same packaging, where you kind of stamp it on! totally looks worth it.
