For all you beauty brands who have sent in feature requests to Beauty Bento Box, I’d like to thank you for writing. Knowing your interest in and, hopefully, patronage of my humble beauty blog have given me immense pleasure and honour. However, I’d like to clarify a few things esp with regards to feature and review requests.
One, the blog is primarily geared towards Asian beauty brands or products that offer a somewhat unique and exotic ingredient, which sets them apart from other brands.
Two, I normally tell my readers about beauty products and beauty regimens that are either a personal preference or something I personally am interested in (wishlist, hehe!), this explains a feature on a product or service that I may not have tried. I also share with fellow Asians how some non-Asian beauty brands fare, hence, reviews on more commercial brands.
Three, my reviews are on products that I’ve either purchased (which is 99% of the time) or a product sample sent to me (rarely).
Lastly, if you would like my readers to know more about your products and are interested to send a sample for me to review, note that I live in the Philippines. I reckon it’d be better if you sponsor a contest instead, so that the readers themselves will be able to get a taste and spread the word.
